Show + Tell appoints former Jaywing Head Of Systems

Show + Tell, a Yorkshire-based creative digital agency, has announced the appointment of Dan Martin as their new Technical Director. Dan brings with him 20 years of experience working in a range of industries, including electronics, HR, education, and web agencies. His appointment is significant for Show + Tell as he held the position of Head of Systems with Jaywing, an integrated agency, for the past two years.

Prior to his tenure at Jaywing, Dan spent 11 years working for Epiphany, a specialised SEO agency. During this time, he was responsible for transforming the systems at Epiphany, building a complete suite of bespoke tools for running a digital marketing agency. He and his team also broadened their role to build advanced systems for use by clients, predominantly in the banking sector. They were responsible for creating three of the major products offered by Jaywing's risk department: Archetype, Echelon, and Horizon.

Dan brings a wealth of experience delivering complex technical solutions for Enterprise-level brands looking to innovate digitally. He’ll be implementing Headless CMS & React development solutions to position the agency as one of the leading web development agencies in the North of England.

Charlie Hartley - Managing Director of Show + Tell

In his new role as Technical Director at Show + Tell, Dan will oversee all technical aspects of the work produced. He will set the direction of the agency in terms of the technologies used and the approach taken to builds. Dan's strengths lie in back-end development and architecture, and he believes strongly in building things properly, using good engineering practices, such as static code analysis and test-driven development.

I know I have skills and experience that will benefit Show + Tell, but it's also a chance for me to take the next step in my career and test myself at a new level. I was happy in my previous role and could have stayed there forever, but this was just too good an opportunity to miss and I'm really looking forward to seeing where we go together.
