Show+Tell founder named Young Entrepreneur of the Year
We’re delighted, ecstatic and over the moon to announce that our Managing Director, Charlie Hartley has been awarded the coveted Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, at the 2015 Harrogate Business Awards. Up against some stiff competition Charlie was announced that winner at the exclusive ceremony last Thursday.
Charlie beat two other shortlisters to walk away with the prize. The judges were impressed with Charlie’s ingenuity and dynamic approach to business. The awards entry featured a timeline of Charlie’s successes, with the launch of Show+Tell back in 2009 and his fluid move to shift the company from a design and print based offering to a strategic digital agency. Following the successful written award entry, the only thing standing between Charlie and glory at this point, was a gruelling interview with Matthew Stamford of Verity Frearson and Chris Blundell of Provenance Inns which Charlie successful tackled.
Since the launch of Show+Tell the company has gone from strength to strength, as Charlie lead a management team buy out in 2011 and has subsequently grown the team to a tight knot of highly skilled digital craftsmen and women. Within the time that Charlie has solely ruled the roost, Show+Tell have won major accounts such as, Candy Kittens, Larson and Jennings and PEEL Entertainment group. And as ever the company climate is evolving again with Charlie leading a total rebrand for Show+Tell and shifting the business model to facilitating ongoing digital marketing support for all of the clients. The Show+Tell client base now rely totally on the team for complete digital support, as the specialism of the company expand with the team.
Charlie’s creative thinking and buoyant understanding of digital and business has seen him reign supreme at a young age and his entrepreneurial air have not only lifted his profile, it has also elevated Show+Tell. So, as they say, the future is bright, the future is orange for Show+Tell.
Ciao for now!
