New website launched for Fourth & Main

Fourth and Main, a new contemporary lifestyle brand has launched with a new online presence and with a pop-up store in the heart of London’s shopping district at 17 Newburgh Street.

The new brand which will showcase its debut menswear collection on the site www.forthandmain.com, appointed Show+Tell to build a robust online store as well as creating a platform for the branded bi-annual arts and culture publication, Fourth & Main Journal.

With its roots in London’s creative culture, Fourth & Main’s debut menswear collection channels the youthful exuberance of the people who populate it and the infinite styles they display. With nods to English and East Coast preppy tailoring, the collection delivers clean lines and versatility and includes unlined tailored linen jackets, chore coats, club collar shirts, tailored shorts & chinos with side button fastening, lightweight knitwear and swimwear, all with perfect fit and detail.

Let us take you through the key areas of the website:

- Home Page

The website was built using the Magento platform with a complex custom Core PHP WordPress blog system that uses 4 uniquely designed blog templates. The site also used a custom built flash magazine viewer for the clients regularly updates Journal.

- General Product Page

An elegant and simple styling the general product page displays 4 products as all times with the ability to scroll either way through all the products or the user can define the product 'type' by the sub menu in the navigation bar. We also built in product rollovers that reveal the basic product detail such as price and the name of the product.

- Product Detail Page

This page contains all the usual features of a product detail page design however we did include a drop down in the navigation bar to enable users to change the currency should they be non UK users. This page also includes a clever product details zoom function that's activates by rolling over the product image.

- Look Book 

Under the collections tab there is a Look Book for users to view products on the Fourth & Main model. Each page contain click through shopping.
