Just under a fortnight ago, we finally released our new brand, 

, into the world. After months of work, it was time to reveal our new name, new look, new website, and new, well, 

, so it was only right we had a party to celebrate such an occasion. 

After almost 15 years of being known as Impression, the decision to rebrand to Show + Tell wasn’t one we took lightly, but - as with all good things - the timing was just right.  We’ve shared a little more about the rationale behind the change 

, so head on over to read that if you missed it.

The launch took place on December 7th and received a few exciting press features, and we’ve already had a tonne of great feedback from clients, partners, and staff alike, such as:

The following day, we celebrated the launch of Show + Tell at our central Harrogate headquarters, bringing together the whole team, along with friends and family, partners, and industry peers, to raise a glass and toast our new chapter. As a busy creative and digital agency with multiple bases, it’s not often the whole team can get together to celebrate, and it was fantastic to have so many join us for the celebration. 

“We really appreciate how many people came to celebrate the launch of Show + Tell, especially considering it was in December - an already busy month of parties! 

, along with showcasing the new brand in all its glory across the office. It felt important to mark this shift as a business with a proper event and it was a great night. There are big plans afoot for us in 2024 - our fifteenth anniversary - so I’m looking forward to sharing more and seeing these plans come to fruition. I want to say a big thank you to everyone who worked on the launch, and helped organise the launch event - now it’s on to the next!”

We’ll be closed from 5 pm on Friday, 22nd December, and reopening at 9 am on Tuesday 2nd January 2024. 

There will be skeleton staff in place over the break to deal with any urgent client matters, and other enquiries will be dealt with on our return in the new year. 

As this exciting year draws to a close, we’d like to say thanks to our clients, partners, team members, and suppliers for all the hard work and collaboration we’ve shared in 2023. We wish you all a fantastic Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2024. 


Toasting Success: Show + Tell Official Launch Event

We are thrilled to announce that Show + Tell has been shortlisted in the prestigious UK Digital Excellence Awards in the Best B2B Website category. This recognition comes as a testament to the outstanding collaboration between our team and the esteemed commercial interior design firm, DENTON.

At Show + Tell, we believe in pushing boundaries, breaking new ground, and delivering experiences with impact. These beliefs are exemplified in our partnership with DENTON, a leading player in commercial interior design in the UK. DENTON came to us looking for a rich brand experience that inspires visitors and highlights their innovative, specialist service offering. 

The synergy between our teams has resulted in a website that showcases DENTON's unparalleled design expertise and sets a new standard for B2B websites in the digital landscape.

Competitor analysis and a full review of the existing site was the first stage of our approach to the DENTON site overhaul. This was done before we won the brief for the work, and we took this research further once we’d secured the contract and had access to information that could guide us from a UX and CRO viewpoint, and inform the design and functionality.

The business wanted to move to a new domain as part of this project, so our Marketing team was on hand to deal with the SEO implications of that, whilst our design and development teams utilised the findings of our research to develop a concept that propelled the DENTON brand ahead of its competitors. 


We presented a highly compelling, editorial concept, which showcased the incredible projects using quality imagery, video and interactive aspects, which would not have been possible with a new 

, as the previous site was quite restrictive in what it could support. The site was also flat and didn’t particularly engage or provide the opportunity for the user to dive deeper into a project, and this was a big opportunity for DENTON to get right. 

The existing site was also quite confusing, and part of our work was to simplify the user journey through a streamlined sitemap, making information simple to access for the different audience types.  Crucial aspects - from our perspective - were things such as having the Services pages in the main nav, as these important pages were hard to find, and that’s not ideal for such a considered purchase where research and information gathering are key. Clear call-to-actions were also lacking and this was impacting conversions. 

All of this - and more - was taken care of in our approach to the project.

It is now abundantly clear from the new DENTON site that they’re a commercial interior design business and expert at what they do. 

Their brilliant projects take centre stage thanks to video, and high-quality photography, and services and expertise are highlighted with clear and concise pages that are easy to find and navigate no matter the device. It’s interactive, engaging, and hits the brief head-on.

We think we did the job, of course, but what matters is the client’s view of what we delivered:

Show + Tell shortlisted at UK Digital Excellence Awards

After almost 15 years of Impression, the end of this year brings some exciting developments for our agency. Following months of work behind the scenes, we’re delighted to share our new brand and identity, Show + Tell.

Throughout 2023 we’ve been looking ahead and mapping out the agency's future. To that end, we’ve invested a lot into our brand positioning, marketing and business development, as well as cementing our senior leadership team and client experience, adding FLOCC to our agency group, and the ongoing evolution of our service offering.

We understand more than ever who we are and what we’re great at, and felt that it was time our brand name and creative had an upgrade to propel us into our fifteenth year in business. 

The rebrand marks a significant shift towards offering an all-encompassing suite of services. As Show + Tell, we specialise in digital strategy, website design and build, technical innovation, UX design, brand strategy, and brand design.

The rename and brand transformation was spearheaded by our Head of Design, Jordan Donnelly. It’s a change that has been discussed over the years and, for various reasons, we’ve pushed this project down the priority list until the timing felt right.

“The name Impression served us well since 2009, but as the agency has grown and developed and the services we deliver have progressed, it felt like we’d outgrown the name and we needed something that better represented our offering and what we’re about. Find out more about our

This new name captures the essence of what we do – weaving compelling narratives, delivering branding and design solutions that are far from the norm, and creating leading-edge digital products - all of which truly Show + Tell our clients’ unique stories.

The past couple of years have been transformative for us as a business, with several initiatives that have helped us hone in on our offering. The name Impression no longer reflected the agency and group of people we are, and we believe Show + Tell far better represents us as a collective, along with the services we provide our clients.

The business world is constantly evolving, and so are the behaviours and expectations of customers. The race for their attention and their business is won by those who can best match the relentless pace of change. Show + Tell exists to keep our clients at the head of that race.

CEO and founder, Charlie Hartley, explains further:

“I’m incredibly proud of our growth and success, particularly in the last 2-3 years, and we’ve done a lot of growing up as a business as a result. 

We’ve invested a lot of time and resources in the agency in recent years, from our outstanding studio space with its custom fit-out to hiring more brilliant people across the business, including in crucial senior leadership roles.

We now have clear objectives and know intrinsically what we want to be famous for, and I’m confident that the new brand meets the scale of our ambitions and represents us in this new and exciting growth phase.”

, to our group, which has helped us further our technical capabilities and add more value to our clients. This investment and enhanced service offering puts us at the forefront of Sanity and React development agencies in the UK and we’re hopeful this will boost our future growth.

We also recently shared our growth plans with the 

, putting a number on what we’re hoping to achieve over the next couple of years in terms of revenue and the new career opportunities we hope to deliver, too. This story was shared whilst we worked behind the scenes on our new brand and positioning, with our eyes and minds firmly on what we know we can achieve as Show + Tell.

“Historically, we've mainly been a digital agency doing web builds and web projects, but over the last couple of years, there has been a move to bigger brand strategy pieces and more complex technical briefs, and we’re already delivering a lot of large-scale projects of this nature, which we want to continue doing. Again, we strongly feel this rebrand helps us on that journey and communicates our skillset effectively.”

2024 will be our 15th year in business, and we want to express our gratitude for the trust and collaboration we’ve had with our clients. This year has been our most successful ever and we’re so proud of the projects we’ve delivered and how our agency continues to grow and thrive.
