Meet the Team: Tim Inggall

Since our brand has had a rejig and relaunch, we decided it would be an opportune time to reintroduce our talented team members here at Show + Tell. First up in the series is Tim Inggall, who joined us in early 2022 and has been an integral part of many projects delivered in that time, including Omega Funds, Pulse Fibre and Xiros.

We recently sat down with a brew (Yorkshire Tea, obviously) to chat with Tim about his role within the agency, his career journey and his advice for budding account/project managers.

Let’s dive in, shall we?

Tim, tell us a little about your role:

It’s been over two years since I joined Show + Tell as a Digital Project Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in Account Management and Project Management across diverse B2B sectors, ranging from recruitment to medical devices.

Most recently, my role has developed into Account Management as we build this new department within the agency. I’m excited to take this next step and help form the developing Account Management team and ways of working as we keep striving for better.

Why account management?

Account Management has always been a passion of mine. There is nothing better than being able to share in the success of our clients and knowing that both client and agency worked together to achieve a common goal. It requires me to thoroughly understand many different services that we offer at Show + Tell, across branding, website design and development, and digital marketing, allowing me to continually develop my knowledge and understanding of new and emerging technologies and approaches.

In my role, no two days are alike. Pardon the cliché, but it rings true. Working with multiple clients at once, spanning various sectors such as SaaS, Property, Venture Capital and more, introduces fresh challenges and opportunities daily, keeping me on my toes and fostering continuous professional growth. I’ve got to be ‘on it’ at all times.

I get to work alongside knowledgeable, passionate and talented people, and I love helping the people within our client’s businesses to achieve their goals and objectives.

Tell us more about you:

I once embarked on a two-year journey training as a Communications Engineer in the Royal Navy!

While my “service” mainly involved a brief voyage around the Isle of Wight, this experience left a mark on me, shaping my perspective and instilling valuable lessons that I carry with me today.

In my spare time, I love to keep myself busy with several hobbies and interests. This year, one of my main focuses is travel. I love going away for the weekend and exploring a new part of the world. I find that every journey back home brings with it a renewed gratitude for the life I’ve created, and I’m building a list of “where to next” for future adventures!

Any tips for those looking to get into Agency account management?

For those aspiring to venture into a role like mine, I offer this advice: always be curious.

Embrace the habit of questioning the status quo. Never settle for surface-level explanations. There’s always room for improvement, even in processes that have stood the test of time. Curiosity fuels strategic thinking, paving the way for enhanced account management and, ultimately, greater client satisfaction, which is what it’s all about.
