Client Success: O&3 has been acquired by IMCD

We’ve had the pleasure of working with O&3, a supplier of speciality natural ingredients to the global beauty and personal care markets, since 2018. The team at O&3 trusted us from the beginning of their journey, at the start-up phase, and we’ve been delighted to play a part in their massive success story - especially as they’re a fellow Yorkshire business!

The business has enjoyed phenomenal results over the years, with outstanding commercial growth and a swiftly expanding global team pretty much since the start. We’ve been along with them on the journey, beginning our partnership with the senior leadership team at the Idea phase, where we assisted with Brand Development and Strategy.  

O&3 is a fantastic example of a business that embraced the power of digital innovation and made it a big part of the approach from the beginning. It’s a rarity, to have a business in this sector so open about sharing their story, especially since O&3 are suppliers to industry rather than direct to consumer, but the team wanted to highlight their vast experience, selection of products, and their business story with an immersive, engaging website. 

So we made it happen, bringing to life their vast internal product database through a digital catalogue, thus reducing the research time for the end user and minimising the buying journey from weeks to minutes.

This summer, O&3 was acquired by IMCD, a global leader in the formulation, sales and distribution of speciality chemicals and ingredients.  IMCD cited O&3’s approach to marketing as a key factor in its growth, and in its most recent financial year, turnover reached an impressive £37m. Whilst this is undoubtedly a result of the team’s knowledge, experience, and superior products, we’re extremely proud to have helped them showcase this via their branding and digital presence and to have played even a small role in this Yorkshire success story.
